65F and Sunny; got in the first ride of the season

This is absolutely the earliest I have ever been able to go for a ride in Michigan.  The temps are hovering around 65F and the winds are light.  The rain we had a couple of days ago washed the salt off the roads and bikes started blooming like cactus after a desert rain.  My arm is sore from waving to all my fellow road warriors.  Felt good to be out there.
The radio worked well but I have to remember to take the remote control with me to ensure I get the volume set correctly; I had it too low and could only hear it when I was stopped at a traffic light.  No worries; I'm like Don and prefer the sound of the pipes and the motor.
Looking forward to Sturgis
